Virtual Mindfulness Training

TRIESSENCE and virtual speaker Tessa Todd Morgan were thrilled to wrap up a great week with the opportunity to speak to over 7,500 people on various virtual platforms.

We love seeing that top level executives are really starting to care for the human beings that they have working for them and are wanting to provide some virtual mindfulness training and let them learn what mindfulness in the workplace is all about. Being able to provide stress relief training is crucial during this time.

When we see great companies like Sally Beauty, CosmoProf, Ensono and GCM Grosvenor take advantage of virtual training, it makes us super happy and honored to be a part of such wonderful events.

We are looking forward to being with United Valley Insurance Services next week and then Allstate and Tobii Dynavox the following. We love getting to work with teams a 2nd time and Tessa is looking very forward to being with Tobii once more! It is an honor to get to work with Think Neu Events again too because they take such great care of their clients and Tobii Dynavox is a great example of their amazing work and partnerships!

Mindfulness Speaker Tessa Todd Morgan to return to St. Edward’s University next month

We are so excited that Tessa is getting to return to St. Edward’s University to spend time with the leadership team after getting to be with the students at this same time last year.

On December 4th, the Student Affairs Leadership Team members will spend 4 hours with mindfulness expert and stress relief speaker, Tessa Todd Morgan of TRIESSENCE to focus on self-care of body, mind and spirit.  During the half-day professional development retreat, members will have an opportunity to reflect, learn new information, and partner with colleagues around self-care and and living an integrated life.

Practicing patience…

I’ve been practicing patience the last few weeks looking forward to what is to come. I was surprised to find a nest with 15 eggs in a planter box in my backyard a few weeks ago.

Seeing a mother sit patiently waiting for 28 days for her ducklings to arrive is truly inspiring.  Can you imagine mostly sitting still doing nothing for 28 days?

And, it has been a miracle to witness the father flying in for occasional visits and watching the two of them interact with one another.  It’s incredible to see how the mother safely covers the eggs with feathers for protection when she leaves.

In such a fast moving world, it’s nice to slow down and watch tiny miracles unfold.  It seems in a society where we can get distracted in as little as 3 minutes and it can take up to 23 minutes to get back on task, we are sometimes missing the miracles all around us and they almost have to be right in front of our face in order for us to see them.

Every time I make it a point to search out and be present to the things around me, I am presently surprised that there are miracles to witness when I make it a point to notice.  I’m amazed when I get to speak to groups on mindfulness at how much this is needed for all of us these days.  Not to mention how great it is for stress relief when we are actually present.  When we are living in the moment we can’t be living from a place of regret or shame of the past or worry and anxiousness of the future.  What an added bonus!
